Welcome to the Wonder-Gizmos, a monthly Snail Mail Creative Writing Club & Whimsy Machine designed to combat the junk mail taking over your mailbox, reinvigorate your creative practice, and even, maybe, brighten your day.*

Please sign up through my Patreon to receive writing prompts, submit your creative responses to shared with Wonder-Gizmos community, and my original zines, hot off the printer.

This summer, the Wonder-Gizmos offered a place-based, interactive creative experiment that brought folks from all over into whimsical community and an anthology zine.

This adventure was designed for everyone: photographers, artists, writers, cartoonists, dreamers, doodlers, songwriters, people-watchers, alien-enthusiasts, whittlers, explorers and the plain ol' bored.

Our zine, which includes the work of Robin Bissett, Courtney Blazon, Van, Erin, Kate Morris, Zola Kell, Reilly Blum, The Mindful Narcissist, Jesse P. and Ryan Aikin, will make its debut at a Publication Release Party on Saturday Dec. 28th at 7 PM at Free Cycles. Come hear Jesse P.'s crowdsourced song about the T&C and Tucker and The Twig, make a zine with Lady Pajama, grab a copy of You Are Here, and revel in the creative goodness your community cooked up this summer!

Kate Morris, Zola Kell, Ryan Aikin, and I will read from the zine and Sabertooth Studio, Bry Froehlich, Valerie Barr, Lady Pajama, Cositas Bonitas Botanicals, Bird Brain Creations, Jason Cox, Pokey's, Spunky Sprite AKA Maddie, T. Lyle, Umami Mami Creations, and the Wonder-Gizmos are bringing their insanely lovely books & wares.

Finally, if you can believe it, Heavy Horse, a Montana trio weaving soothing psychedelic sounds, deep grooves and global rhythms comprised of local legends Jesse P., John Wicks, and Seamus Jennings, is closing out the night with a show.

If you missed the show but would like a copy of the zine, please reach out here. I'd be happy to mail you one.
